The Josephites in California

Fr Charles writes: Recently  I was asked by our Superior General, Fr Robert Hamilton CJ, to write a short item on the establishment of the Josephite ministry in California. I was requested to write about the Josephites experience in California because I was the first American to take vows as a Josephite on August 25, 1966. I took my vows three years after the Josephites left their native countries of England and Belgium. The following is the Josephites’ transition from their homeland to the U.S.A.
